Summary
This report presents a top-level overview of the drug phenomenon in Montenegro, covering drug supply, use and public health problems as well as drug policy and health and social responses.
This National Drug Situation Overview was prepared by the Department for Monitoring Drugs and Drug Addiction (hereafter called the National Drug Observatory/NDO) of the Ministry of Health (MoH) of Montenegro. Experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoIA) and the Institute of Public Health (IPH) were included, as well as experts from other relevant institutions and organisations. The statistical data relate to the period from 2017 to 2022.
