Introduction
The European Questionnaire on Drug Use among People Living in Prison (EQDP) Methodological Guidelines offer detailed guidance on conducting drug research in prison settings. The guidelines cover key principles for conducting research in prisons, along with practical advice on sampling methods, modes of administration, data management, and methodological specifications for each section of the questionnaire. They also define drug-related interventions in prison contexts. Additionally, the guidelines include an example of an informed consent form for use in prison-based research, a list of common street names for the drugs mentioned in the questionnaire, and a final checklist highlighting priority areas to be investigated during drug research in prison settings.
