Introduction
The trainee will be allocated within the Information and communication technology unit (ICT), and the selected candidate will be reporting to the Head of unit, ICT.
The successful applicant will be requested to perform the following main tasks and responsibilities:
- Collect, integrate, and pre-process data from various internal and external sources to support ICT projects;
- Assist in designing and maintaining data architecture and infrastructure to support efficient data management;
- Develop and create generative AI models to address business problems;
- Create and maintain automated data pipelines to ensure continuous data flow, processing, and monitoring;
- Work closely with ICT team members, data scientists, and stakeholders to integrate data solutions and document processes.

Eligibility requirements:
- Be a national of one of the Member States of the European Union, Norway or Türkiye. Candidates from other countries may apply.
- Have fulfilled any obligations imposed by the applicable laws concerning military service.
- Be physically fit to perform the duties of the post.
- Have completed the first cycle of a higher education course (university education) and obtained a full degree or its equivalent by the closing date for applications.
- Have a thorough knowledge of oral and written English.
General selection requirements:
- A completed university degree in computer science, mathematics, data systems or a related field.
- Strong IT background.
- Some knowledge in programming/scripting (Python, SQL for example).
- Ideally some first contact with data engineering tools (like dbt, Airflow, Python, Spark, Trino, Jupyter Notebooks, etc.), AI and machine learning basics).
