Cross-border threats in the Western Balkan region with an impact on the EU
This technical meeting brings together technical experts involved in international cooperation projects and threat assessment in the Western Balkan region.
It aims to:
- Gather the EU Justice and Home Affairs Agencies (JHA) that are actively involved in technical cooperation activities with the Western Balkan and enlargement partners.
- Strengthen inter‑agency cooperation through shared experiences in the Western Balkan region.
- Present the latest data, information and trends in the region.
- Discuss regional cross‑border threats and adequate responses.
- Explore opportunities for joint activities in future EU‑financed technical cooperation programmes in the field of threat assessment and response.
This meeting is organised under the EUDA’s one-year presidency of the EU Justice and Home Affairs Agencies’ Network (JHAAN). Under the theme “One Safety — building preparedness and resilient communities”, the presidency promotes a cross-sector, integrated approach to building a safer, fairer and more resilient EU.
