EUDA Management Board

About
The Management Board is the main decision-making body of the EUDA. It meets at least once a year and consists of one representative from each Member State of the European Union, Norway and Türkiye, two representatives from the European Commission and two representatives designated by the European Parliament. The Chair of the Management Board is elected to serve for a four-year period.
The system of national representatives ensures that the interests of all European citizens are fully represented in the Management Board's decisions. Every three years, the Board adopts a three-year Single Programming Document for the Agency. It also adopts an annual Work Programme for each coming year, an annual budget and the Agency's consolidated annual activity report.
The Management Board set up an Executive Board composed of the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson of the Management Board, two other members of the Management Board representing the Member States and appointed by the Management Board from among its members with the right to vote and the two Commission representatives. The Executive Board meets five to six weeks before each Management Board meeting to prepare for the latter in consultation with the Executive Director. In accordance with Article 20 of the rules of procedure of the Board, the Executive Committee may also, in consultation with the Executive Director, decide on behalf of the Management Board on the matters foreseen in the EUDA financial rules which are not reserved to the Management Board by the EUDA Regulation, and make the necessary adjustments to the work programmes previously adopted by the Board. The Executive Director of the Agency also attends these meetings.
The Management Board also set up a Budget Committee composed of three of its members or alternates with the right to vote and two representatives of the Commission to the Management Board.

The EUDA Management Board adopted its rules of procedure at its constituent meeting on 4–5 July 2024 in Lisbon.
