Statistical Bulletin 2024 — drug checking data
A drug checking service is one which focuses on public health and harm reduction for members of the public, by analysing drugs to detect their contents and returning the results of each analysis to service users with the intention of helping the user reduce risk exposure without judgement of their decision to consume drugs. The Trans European Drugs Information (TEDI) network collects data on the results from the analytical testing from all participating European drug checking services based on a common standardised data collection form. These data are processed by TEDI and submitted as a complete set of aggregated city-level data every 6 months to the EMCDDA. Methods and definitions for the data on this page can be found on the Drug checking methods and definitions page.
