Summary
This provides an assessment of the effectiveness and, where possible, value for money of activity delivered under the Drug Strategy 2010. The evaluation of the Government’s Drug Strategy 2010 contributes greatly to the evidence base for the Government’s new Drug Strategy. As such, this evaluation covers the strategy to the end of 2015 to provide sufficient time to feed into the development of the new strategy. However, a few 2016 and 2017 reports are also included for completeness. The evaluation focusses on activities carried out in England only, and includes those activities that contribute to the aims of the strategy and receive, at least in some part, central government funding.
