Reitox academy on drug checking

The Reitox academy is a training programme which addresses the training and information needs of the EUDA's national partners.

In this training 30 participants from 17 EU Members states (National Focal Points and drug checking services) gather to learn about practices of setting-up drug checking, legal and quality requirements, sharing national experiences. Partners from the TEDI network are also presenting.

The learning objectives for this program are to gain knowledge on the different types of drug checking interventions in Europe, including legislative challenges, technical, operational, and communication requirements, as well as the quality standards and considerations for implementing such services.

Participants will learn about the integration of drug checking into national drug monitoring and Early Warning systems, with a focus on its implications for health and market information, particularly within the EU Early Warning System and the European Drug Alert System.
