On 26 February, the EUDA is hosting a technical exchange on cannabis policies between Europe and the Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) area, focusing on key achievements of the COPOLAD III project, which draws to a close in March. The online meeting will showcase examples of best practice on cannabis policy monitoring and evaluation, along with a range of resources in this area.
A key point on the agenda will be the presentation of highlights from an update of the
EUDA study Monitoring and evaluating changes in cannabis policies: insights from the Americas. Participants will also discuss the outcomes of the bi-regional workshop on cannabis policies, co-organised by the EUDA (EMCDDA) and the Jamaican National Council on Drug Abuse in Kingston in January 2024.
The meeting will end with a presentation of EUDA resources on cannabis policies, including an upcoming cannabis policy toolkit.
