The OPTIMUS Guidance on Opioid Agonist Maintenance Treatment (OMT) outcomes monitoring. Part B (questionnaire)

Original/alternative title:  OPTIMUS guidance on OMT Part B — questionnaire

Summary

The OPTIMUS project, coordinated by the EUDA, aims to establish international consensus on patient-reported outcomes for opioid agonist maintenance treatment (OMT). One guidance document (Part A) provides internationally agreed recommendations for evaluating treatment outcomes in opioid agonist maintenance treatment (OMT). Developed by a group of experts and service users, it aims to improve the quality and comparability of OMT care by focusing on key health and social outcomes. The guidance is complemented by a practical outcomes questionnaire (Part B) — this document — designed for use in clinical settings. Together, these resources address gaps in systematic monitoring and ensure that critical indicators—such as overdose, HIV/HCV, and risk behaviours—are consistently included across services and countries.
