European Drugs Winter School 2026

The special focus of this online course will be ‘The role of social media in the drugs field', looking at how social media influence drug markets, use trends and response strategies.

Over two weeks, participants will attend live lunchtime lectures from leading experts and take part in interactive exercises and virtual fieldwork tours. The sessions will be recorded and available to students for subsequent viewing. Those wishing to obtain academic credits are required to complete exercises and sit an exam.

The event will be conducted in English.

Please note that 'special focus' means that some sessions will be dedicated to the specific topic. The overall aim of the courses is to promote understanding of the broader topic of ‘Illicit drugs in Europe: demand, supply and public policies’.
