First EMCDDA-IPA7 project advisory committee

The IPA7 project advisory committee (PAC) is a consultative body composed of representatives from each of the six IPA7 beneficiaries (a designated project National Correspondent, representatives from the permanent missions in Brussels and from the European Union Delegations in the region), as well as representatives from DG NEAR and DG HOME of the European Commission. The objective of this consultative body is to guide and support the implementation of the project, liaising with relevant government entities and partners, and to advise both the EMCDDA and the beneficiaries on matters related to the project.

Due to the COVID outbreak, the previously scheduled IPA7 project advisory committee of 17 March was postponed to 15 July. The meeting’s agenda included not only the disclosure of the project’s objectives, news and challenges, but also a captivating discussion on COVID-19-related challenges and opportunities faced in the region.
